Waxing Etiquete
How often should I wax?
This really depends upon you and how your hair grows. Most clients get waxed every 4-6 weeks.
Aftercare
Avoid hot baths and showers, saunas, swimming pools, sun, sunbeds and deodorants for 24 hours after waxing as these could irritate the skin. To prevent ingrown hairs exfoliate gently after a couple of days then a couple of times a week. Use a body brush or towel and rub gently.
Can I get wax when I'm pregnant?
Absolutely. I will ensure that all waxing is carried out safely. Waxing a week or so before due dates is very popular. Just make sure you let me know so I can allow more time for the treatment.
How to prevent ingrowing hairs?
Make sure you exfoliate and try not to wear tight underwear. If you have ingrown hairs on your legs make sure you moisturise, exfoliate and stay hydrated. Dry skin can cause ingrowing hairs.
How long should the hair be?
Your hair should be at around 1cm long to achieve the best results. If it's your first wax make sure you don't shave at least 2 weeks before appointment.
Will it hurt?
No waxing is totally pain free but I use the best products, the best methods and I put client comfort first. It might hurt a bit but it is over in an instant and the results are worth it.
